Dallas (Irving, Tx) - From now until April 4th Project Prom Queen, a local outreach project coordinated by Swank Soiree, Inc. of Dallas and Fashion Philanthropist Tiyunna Johnon of Irving, Tx will host a prom dress and shoe drive for students in the Irving ISD TAPPS (Teenage Pregnant & Parenting Student’s) Program along with eligible students at Barbara Cardwell Career Preparatory Center.
The focus this year is making sure that despite adversity, teen moms who decided to stay the course of education will also have the opportunity to celebrate one of many Senior High School Milestones.


In the coming years PPQ will include teenage girls who exemplify excellence in the classroom, but are faced with economic hardships.
Items collected are new or gently used formal gowns sizes (0-20), prom shoes sizes (6-12), accessories, and toiletries. Hair and makeup services will also be available.  On Thursday April 9th, Project Prom Queen will host a boutique style, and exclusive shopping experience for the girls. The young ladies can choose and try on any of the donated items to take home. We will have hair/ makeup artists on set doing demo sessions and tutorials on “make up not fake up” as well as prominent Fashion stylists to help with picking out the Best dress. Loft22 Cakes has offered to supply some sweet treats.
